The MA Cross is a Metatrader 4 forex indicator that filters out noise from random price instabilities.
It is able to achieve this by combining a 4 period fast moving average type and a 14 period slow moving average type.
This indicator combines the fast and slow MA concept into a single blue line that acts like an oscillator.
It moves above and below a zero trigger level, which is translated as price being bullish and bearish in that order.
The idea is when the fast and slow lines intersects in an upward manner, the value of the MA Cross indicator jumps above zero, and when the fast and slow lines crosses in a downward fashion, the MA Cross indicator value falls below zero.

Basic Trading Signals
Buy Signal: Go long when the blue line of the MA Cross Metatrader 4 custom forex indicator surges above the zero signal level.
Sell Signal: Go short when the blue line of the MA Cross Metatrader 4 custom forex indicator dips below the zero signal level.
Exit buy trade: Close all buy orders if while a bullish trend is running, the blue line of the MA Cross indicator drops below the zero reference line.
Exit sell trade: Close all sell orders if while a bearish trend is ongoing, the blue line of the MA Cross indicator breaks above the zero reference line.
Tips: Using the MA Cross indicator will allow you see clearly when the fast and slow moving average lines crossover. Use this indicator for scalping, day trading and swing trading purposes.
