EMA Crossover Alert + XTC Trend Indicator MT4 Scalping Strategy

It is designed to capture fast moves in trending markets using lower timeframes such as M1, M5, or M15.

This strategy is suitable for active day traders seeking systematic entries and exits.

The EMA crossover identifies immediate trend changes, while the XTC Trend Indicator confirms momentum strength.

Together, they help reduce false signals and increase the probability of profitable scalps.

Buy Entry Rules

  • The EMA Crossover Alert indicator displays a green bullish arrow.
  • The XTC Trend Indicator shows blue histogram bars.
  • Enter a buy at the next candle open after both conditions align.
  • Place a stop loss below the recent swing low.
  • Set take profit based on trend strength or when the XTC histogram turns red.

Sell Entry Rules

  • The EMA Crossover Alert indicator displays a red bearish arrow.
  • The XTC Trend Indicator shows red histogram bars.
  • Enter a sell trade at the next candle open after both conditions align.
  • Place a stop loss above the recent swing high.
  • Set take profit based on trend strength or when the XTC histogram reverses to blue.

Advantages

  • Quick entries allow multiple trades per day.
  • Dual confirmation reduces false breakouts.
  • Works well on trending pairs and highly liquid markets.
  • Clear, disciplined rules make it suitable for systematic scalping.

Drawbacks

  • Requires constant monitoring of charts.
  • Small targets mean tight spreads, and low liquidity can impact results.
  • High frequency may lead to overtrading without discipline.
  • News volatility can quickly trigger stop losses.
